C-Cam Technologies is a division of |
C-Cam Technologies wishes to grow to become an important player in the vision industry as a supplier of advanced CMOS-based cameras. The basis of this growth lies in the ability and the commitment of our people to successfully design, manufacture and support cameras that will allow our customers to build superior and innovative vision systems. |

With almost 1 000 people, IMEC is Europe's biggest non-profit microelectronic research institute, performing fundamental research in :
In the late 80's IMEC started the first experiments with CMOS image sensors. At that time they had already a lot of experience in designing CCD image sensors. The technology was born in the early 90's. Some years later C-Cam Technologies was started as a first imaging spin-off company of IMEC with the aim to commercialise the Active Pixel Sensors. Vector
International acquired C-Cam Technologies and is continuing to invest
in and expand the range of available commercial products. |

Today Vector International designs, produces and markets CMOS cameras and image sensors based on IMEC's IBIS technology, manufactured by FillFactory. We offer :
For custom design sensors there are two possibilities :
2) MPW or Multi Project Wafer, where Vector International can reserve space on a wafer to process just a few prototype sensors. a Multi Project Wafer. |
